PET/CT Results
Went for follow up today to review my PET/CT results. Here is the impression of the radiologist:
No evidence of residual tumor. There is resolution of the abnormal activity both in the primary tumor site in the right side of the nasopharynx and in a right cervical lymph node.
I am so relieved and grateful. I believe I have been given a second chance to walk this earth, but with a different set of eyes and a different heart.
Thanks for all your support along the way.
Darren

Linda, I will pray for your husband, also for GREAT NEWS!
John, Dude, it took my "chemo brain" a few takes to understand your words. Clever!
I will go out and live again. Have already started. Celebrated with my brother and sister tonight with a great meal. Sorry, had to eat meat tonight. Had a wonderful Lamb Osso bucco in a cranberry reduction sauce. Even had two glasses of a wonderful Layer Cake Primitivo Zin and ended with a delightful Tiramisu. We laughed, we cried and ultimately enjoyed each other's company.
Thanks for all your kind words.

Thank you so much, we won't know anything until next week, but I will hope that we can celebrate the good news, with a great dinner also.
