Hang In There
Niki,
Praying for Jeff and you. I know this whole PET/CT thing......the waiting.....the results.....more waiting is really taxing. Sometimes I just want to scream at the docs and tell them, "JUST GIVE ME MY SURGERY DATE, ALREADY." But I know I just have to keep it to one day at a time.......what can I do today? If it's nothing, well, it's nothing. When I look at all the delays I'm going through and really think about it, my surgeon is just doing his homework to avoid putting me through the ordeal of surgery if the cancer has spread. But still, the waiting.....oh, the waiting -
sounds familiar..........
I too was diagnosed Stage 2, had surgery, 1 node had cancer cells, it did not show up on the PET scan. I am now 18 months post surgery. Had 2 months of chemo because of node involvment. I am doing well, just had a ct scan which showed no evidence of disease. Keep positive! God Bless....
