On Monday Dad will start week 5 (cisplatin & 5FU) chemo and radiation again for the full week, as of right now he has 10 radiation tmt left. It’s been up and down, like a roller coaster (hospitalized--couldnt get good down, wbc @1.6 had neupoena shots!
Is there anyway to find out how many surgery a doctor has performed through a web-site? Not that I don’t trust dr. but seeing it in writing would be beneficial.
Thanks for the help!
Carolyn

I don't know where you live
I don't know where you live but my husband had surgery with Dr. Luketich from UPMC. He pioneered the MIE (minimal invasive esophagectomy) and has done more of these than anyone in the country, possibly the world. Just google him and see the remarkable bio. If you want his phone number I'm sure you could get it online, or I can give it to you, or William Marshall who has more information than anyone I know will share. It is at least possible to get a phone consult with his office and explain your Dad's medical history. Good Luck.
