My husband just had this procedure and at first he was doing great for the first few days afterwards. Then he started getting some pain in the liver area. They gave him some meds for pain so that helped. Now he is very very tired. I can not imagine him being any more tired than he has been.
They at least took hiim off Nexavar which he has been on since January 2010. We only have to wait one month before an MRI and then if all looks good he will be reactivated on the transplant list! We are so anxious.
Has anyone had this procedure and if so did the side effects subside eventually.
