More Joy to Share

Have my own happy tidbit to share. Tuesday evening at 9:26 I became a grandmother (yes, I know - at MY tender age - hah). Like many births, we had some hinky times, then ended up with our own basket of magic. Wishing joy for you all. - pam

We'll have our first grandchild in 5 weeks! Will give us so much joy to keep fighting for, I know.
What will your grandma name be? I'm having a hard time picking one!
Our first grandchild was not having anything to do with the name I picked, he came up with MeMa on his own, in his own time:) All the other grands have accepted that name. I guess they figured if he was the first he had senioroty.

I'm hoping he doesn't pick something awful for my grandmother name - I have considered several, but am sure he will reject whatever I select. I jokingly signed a babyshower card "Her Most Gracious Majesty, the Grandmother Mullins", so maybe "Maj". Also considering the name I called my Memaw, and an Irish variation of it that sounds like "mammo". early in the pregnancy, I did say that until the child became civilized, it should call me Ms. Mullins - thinking that won't happen - hoping he doesn't go with "buckethead" or something that would be censored here. The other grandmother (39 years old) wants to be called "G" (this rules out the 'G Ma' that I kind of liked. Do your kids have any preferences, robinleigh?
