Claudia,
Thinking of you
your knee's have healed, and you find yourself more mobile. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
Gentle hugs, my dear Friend.

Thank you, Kindred Spirits!
Thank you, Kindred Spirits! I saw my oncologist on Thursday or Friday ( can't remember~ the days run together!) And the good news is: My markers have stabilized, I have gained a little over a pound, I look good ( DR's words, not mine LOL)so....NO Chemo! I can stay on the Zometa and Faslodex for the forseeable future!!!!! Of course, if and when things change, chemo it is, but not for now! I go in for a Faslodex injection tomorrow afternoon. On Tuesday I have a "slight procedure"~ because I still have the cough, though it isn't quite as bad~ my oncologist referred me to a gastroenterologist who is going to do an endoscopy . Sedation, tube down the throat to see if there is a stricture or an ulcer or (shudder, and perish the thought) "something else"...
I know you all wish me well, as I do all of you. I am on the Pink Bus with you, at your appointments, at your celebrations, drying your eyes, sharing a drink, laughing with you, crying with you~ and living life~ Before, During and After cancer.

Glad to hear from you and happy that chemo is not in the picture right now. Hoping that the endo shows nothing at all. Nice thing with this is that you don't have to drink any ugly prep. At least I didn't. I know what you mean about the days running together.
Let us know the results of the endo and again, happy that chemo is not starting now.

We gladly relish good news, wherever and whenever we can! Most of yours is good! Over the next few days, I'll be HOPING...
The treatment SEs will not be as severe, begin to "level off" at the very least.
And that the endoscopy reveals nothing of real concern.

and I hope the endoscopy goes well, too. You know we worry about each other on this board. It's such a great thing to have such a large circle of understanding and support.
As things settle down, please keep us posted.
Wishing you the absolute best as always,
