Mom has just started Gemzar on Wed. for a half hr. and it will be 3wks on 1 wk off. After 4 cycles of that, than scans.
Could anybody shed light on what she should expect? I have looked at the patient info. sheet, but its always nice to here it from you all what to really expect?

    Iam on gemzar and carboplatin but on the week I get only the gemzar I hav'ent had a problem at all. I hope this helps alittle it's hard when you don't know what to expect but hopefully she;ll be fine I had no side affects . Good luck
