Yesterday was MY birthday!

I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have another birthday. Yesterday I turned 49. I will hit the 1 year cancerversary on August 24th! I have 2 or 3 Herceptin treatments to go and then will get "deported." Almost done....but will always be here for support and to give any advise I can offer.

    CELEBRATE
    Happy Belated Birthday! As the ACS TV commercial says: Less Cancer More Birthdays. MY 1 year cancerversary was on August 4th. That marked 1 year since my final chemo infusion. Since then I also have been deported AND 2 months ago I had my reconstruction surgery. May this next year be much less eventful for us than the last year has been.

    Belated Happy Birthday! I celebrated mine a couple of days ago and its wonderful that we are around to celebrate our birthdays. I hope you had a great day and ate lots of cake and ice cream.

    Congratulations on getting this far and on your deportation. (I just had my incisions checked this morning from my deportation.) It feels really great to hit that milestone.

    The birthday was great! But what I am really looking forward to is the 1 year cancerversary will be spent at the beach on vacation with my husband, son, my son's best friend, and a couple of our really good friends! Last year all hell broke loose the week we were supposed to go away and couldn't...so, the partying will take place in Kill Devil Hills, NC (on the Outer Banks). If you are going to be around there, let me know!
