Drug Shortage

Hi Ladies. My sister-in-law has had UPSC since 2006. She did two surgeries, aggressive
radiation and carboplatinum without a lot of success. The GOOD news is that Doxil is
working! Bad news is that we learned of the shortage of Doxil--so that she cannot get
her next treatment. I've started writing our pathetic politicians to elevate this issue.
There have been other cancer drugs that have run out as well. In exchange for the
wonderful monopoly we give pharma and insurance cos--not to mention permission to
price gouge, please tell these people to extract an agreement to ensure supply.
Meanwhile, while she doesn't visit this site, I and her family have learned a lot from
you all and are empowered in our ability to support her.
