New treatment today-Topotecan-anyone have this chemo?

Latest CT scan shows the existing lung tumor has gotten bigger and now a mass near adrenal gland was found. I just finished my regular chemo mid June. Onco doc started me today on topotecan, every Monday for 3 weeks. Then week off, do a scan and see how things are.

Anyone familiar with this drug?

    Starting topotecan on Tuesday
I'll be starting topotecan on Tuesday (8/2). I've had a recurrance (ovarian cancer) and this is what my onco suggested. I don't know how many cycles, but it'll be once a week(3 weeks on then one week off.) I'm hoping it won't wipe me out as much as my initial chemo last winter.

    topo
I actually did my first treatment right after onco doc meeting, that was this past Monday. Only side effect I had was the insomnia from the steroid, which I always have. Doc said I'll do 2 more Mondays, take week off, then rescan. He usually does this twice, so we'll see as this will be my 3rd round of chemo in a year. Good luck with yours.

    2nd topo tomorrow
I had my first topotecan treatment last week and had minimal side effects. I'll have #2 tomorrow, as long as blood counts are okay. I have some fatigue and vertigo and minimal stomach distress. What I did have was constipation - that has not been fun.
