Arimidex

Ok, I tried to search but there are too many to sort through and my connection is painfully slow.
I started Arimidex last night. When do the side effects kick in? I am already having serious hot flashes from having my ovary out.
I didn't expect any side effects to kick in for a few days but when I woke this am I was weak. I have been tired all day. Not sure if it is just because I did too much this week, if it the culmination of the past nine months, stress from dealing with some not to bright people this week, or if its related to the arimidex.
Any thoughts?
Cindy

It's been over a year
since I started Arimidex and I don't have hot flashes, but I didn't when I went through menopause, either. My big deal is my feet hurt. The bottoms burn. And if I'm sitting or lying down for an hour or more, when I get up I hobble. Like I limp to the bathroom in the morning, but then it goes away and I can walk normally to the kitchen -- it's odd. I can still walk three miles in the morning, do Zumba at night. I think I'm crankier than I used to be, but I'm also older than I used to be:)
I feel different, but not tired or weak and I like knowing I'm taking something to keep the beast away.
Good luck to you,
