A little history on the pink bus for a newbie :)

Hey Ladies

First of all, I think you are all INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you for being such a refreshing site~~~

Just curious who started this great little idea of the Pink Bus? What a wonderful idea one of you had :)!!

    I am not for sure Sue, but, I think BlownAway60 started the idea of having a Pink Bus to take all of the pink sisters for support when we have tests or surgery.

    It is a really cool idea, and, we all love it.

    And, the really great thing is that it is always ready, gassed up, with lots of room for the pink sisters.

    And an added bonus is we all bring food, drinks or sometimes they bring noisemakers and drive us all nuts. Geesh lol


    So, anytime you need it, you just let us know and we'll be there for you!

    I started it! Do you believe me? 'Cause if you do, I fooled you! lol

    I agree that I think Blownaway, Donna, started the original concept and boy do we enjoy it!

    It gets a lot of use, which saddens me, but, I don't think anyone else in the whole wide world gets more support than we do with the pink bus.

    And, did you know it is magic? Yep! Whenever we take it out, we always get good news back, always!

    I am not for sure who keeps the magic pink bus in such good working order, but, thank you!

    Thanks for the info
    on the "pink bus". I had wondered how to join in on. What a wonderful supportive idea!
    I will now be able to get the bus and ride for whoever needs us.

    The pink bus gets a little
    The pink bus gets a little rowdy now and then but we love it. Some bring silly string, lots of goodies, alcohol and best of all a whole lot of prayers and support. Just say you want to come for the ride and we'll pick you up. Just once they forgot me and I had to run behind the bus. :) Not a pretty site, this chubby girl running!!
    Ritzy is right though we always have great results. Such a blessing.

    Thanks for giving me the credit but I did not actually start the concept of the bus. I just made it real. The bus part was mentioned in someone else's post but not as the Big Pink Bus. That I did start. I don't remember whose post it was but I saw the need for it to continue. It makes me very happy that it is still around and being used by all of the Kindred Spirits. It is a way that we show each and every member of these boards how very special they are.
