Hooray for Suzanne
Suzanne... just went to your expressions page and saw the gift. It looks amazing! You sure touched his heart and I wouldn't be surprised if you get orders from the staff. Oh, does the color teal represent ovarian/uterine cancer and does your doctor have a mustache?
So pleased to hear your gift was well received by all!

The color teal is the awareness color for all gynecologic cancers. Uterine cancer has its own color, peach, but it is also under the umbrella of all gyn cancers, so teal "covers" all the cancers that he deals with. Hence, the choice of teal for the cap.
Yes, he has a mustache - a big one. He is also a gentleman.
The robot itself is representative of the DaVinci robotic surgeries he performs. He used the robot for my hysterectomy last year.
The choice of making a surgical cap to embroider the image on is representative of what he does - surgery.
Oh, and my exam looked good. Now to wait for the results of the Pap smear - which I'm sure will also be good.
