Daily Regime'
My routine once I could't eat solid food...I never did have a PEG, and for me it wasn't an issue... Not endorsing whether or not to have or not have a PEG...everyone is different. I just didn't have one and it was never an issue....
Anyways, my daily routine consisted of the following several times a day.
I'd set-up the following;
Glass of water
Numbing solution (magic lydocaine, liquid oxicotin or hydrocodone)
One - two containers of Ensure Plus
DelMonte Sliced Peaches in Light Syrup (to keep the muscles working)
Ground up dissolved percocet in a little water
Glass of water
That was pretty much the order that I went through each item as well.
Then I'd usually take a warm shower, not sure why but it made me feel better and was part of my routine, LOL....
I refer to the period you are in as Ground Hog's Day, like the movie, same thing, day, after day, after day, after day....
Best,
John -

Thanks for your tipssweetblood22 said:Swallowing muscles. You
Swallowing muscles. You will need to keep swallowing water or liquids through out the day. It can be hard. I didn't lose my swallow muscles wise, but I had a lot of swelling, and I have scar tissue.
I appreciate your help! :-)
