    I agree, 'don't worry about it' wouldn't be an acceptable diagnosis. Like you, I'd want to know WHY IT WAS HAPPENING.

    Then I could decide whether to worry or not. I'm trying to imagine the convo you had:

    Greend: Hey doc, I have big black spots on my tongue, what's causing them, what does it mean?

    Greend's MD: Don't worry about it!

    Greend: Ok cool, I won't. Thanks, that's a load off my mind!

    Not sure what you were doing before for calories..But as an experiment, you might wanna cut the Ensure and go back to the other for a week or so.
