Almost a month ago my father-in-law went to the hospital, he was put in ICU because of acute pneumonia. He was in ICU for a little over a week, in that time he was diagnosed with sarcoidosis. He has been staying in the hospital to complete physical therapy for his legs, he was a runner in his youth and somehow (I don't understand it exactly) the sarcoidosis caused severe swelling his legs. He and his docs were planning for him to go home on Wed.

My husband called today (my FIL is in Brooklyn, we're in CA) to make sure he got home ok. Well, come to find out...on Tuesday my FIL heart rate went up and he's now back in ICU and back almost to square one on this mess. (And his laptop is now missing...FIL is NOT happy.)

So whatever works for you...positive energy, good vibes, happy mojo, prayers, karma...if you could send some toward Brooklyn for my FIL. I do not doubt the power of the kindreds, and I sincerely thank you all for sending it.

    Tell your FIL that we are there with him. Tell him I'm bringing cafe au lait and beignets and lots of prayers. Don't doubt it!

    So sorry to hear your FIL is going through such a hard time. I will definitely send out warm wishes, positive vibes, prayers and happy mojo to Brooklyn. I don't know anything about sarcoidosis but hope it's resolved soon.
