It has been a week since chemo 2 and I am on the mend. I have all the same symptoms as you. I am also seeing my ONC before my 3rd treatment. What stage were you in? I was 3C. Have they given you the results of your CA125 after your first treatment? Mine was down to 29. I found out through some old records that my "normal" seems to be around 10. I assume that chemo 3 will be worse as far as side effects. My hair has been growing back, but I assume it will fall out. It is sooo HOT to wear a wig. I am doing scarves. I found this website that sells a scarf called Beau Beau....sooo worth the money.
Keep in touch....Susan!
I am about to start my 2nd chemo on thursday what are you talking about with the bone pain is that something that I should be looking out for?????

HI Anne ! Welcome to this board. I have bone pain after txs. The chemo seems to go down through my body. I have aches in joints, but the bone pain for me is in my shins and legs. I take carbo/taxol. My 3rd tx will be 8/4. Susan and I are on the same schedule for txs. You may not have any trouble with bone pain. The chemo can have different side effects for each person. I also have some neuropathy in the tips of my fingers. I hope you do well with your next tx. I keep a log of each day post chemo and how I feel. It helps me to write things down, and then maybe just maybe I won't forget. LOL ! Stay well and keep us posted on how you are doing. Jackie0 -

I too had bone pain in my shins and legs. I was so desperate for relief one night I lay on the love seat and talked, out loud, to my femurs. I told them they had done an wonderful job of carrying me around but to STOP IT! LOL The nurse told me to take zyrtec for that but I couldn't tell any relief with just zyrtec so I started taking Tylenol every 6 hrs and that gave some relief.0 -

Great question! My scalp is super sensitive. It is breaking out. It itches like no tomorrow. I am using hydrocortisone to help with the irritation. I will try some of the other suggestions here. I will also ask the doctor when I see him. This is just driving me nuts.
I have to keep it covered because it is so light sensitive. Then again my whole skin is light/heat sensitive.
The 12th day after chemo my hair started to fall out so I went to the wig shop and found my new DOO. The lady there shaved my head and said to take Aloe Vera and rub it on my head it felt so good and soothed it.0
