My last Treatment
Wow, I can't sort out my feelings on this yet.
I can't believe how far I've come, I look back and all I can say is wow.
Being cut free from treatment however, I find just a wee bit scary, wondering about lurking cancer cells, yet I'm overjoyed to be here, to be NED at the moment, hard to realize and accept.
So, I'm going to kick back and enjoy every moment I possibly can and enjoy this gift we call life that has been given back to me.
Love to everyone of you that gave me encouragement, the ones that told me don't sit back and wait for the impending doom, to get my butt active in my own fight for my life, and fight I did, with you standing next to me, telling me to go to the lengths of finding a cancer board that would approve me for surgery, all I can say is thank you thank you thank you for being there with me along side me, cheering me on, lecturing me when I needed it, giving me the hugs when I felt alone, you helped save a life. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Winter Marie,
Congrats on making it so far, although I haven't been active here lately. It warms my heart to see you have come so far. You are a inspiration for all of us. You will get used to not going for treatments, it's a really good thing

YEA WINTER
You have a lot to be proud of. It is certainly a journey. It is very scary when you 1st quit chemo, having the drs always there checking your bloowork all the time. I was so sure the chemo was the only thing keeping cancer from taking over my body. I am glad so far to be mistaken about that.
Good luck and Congrats.0 -

That is awesome news. You have been through so much and finally you have gotten to the finish line. Yipeeee. So happy for you. Yes, it is scary ending treatment, but it is such a victory. When your next scan comes up and shows you NED you will be more confident and you will be Celebrate your new journey.

W2Go Dizzy!
Hey there you:)
Congrats on reaching that milestone. Believe me, you won't miss treatments...I finished up, walked out and never looked back and have not missed it one iota. The people that took care of me were nice, but I don't miss the long sessions and filling up on Folfri Margaritas - I prefer mine with Jose Cuervo and Cointreau, LOL:)
CP9 should be a grand celebration for several of us, myself included. I'll finally get to lay a big ol' Texas bear hug on you:)
Just 3 more months....a big moment in both our lifetimes that I thought might never come is almost at hand:)

Very Happy for You
My cousin who just finished chemo for breast cancer shared she felt scared to not being able to see the doctors BUT I felt happy happy happy to be done with chemo. Now on to the next phase 3 month scans and blood tests. You too will feel good to give your body a chance to revive itself from chemo.
What will be your scan and blood test schedule?
Happy for you,
