Thanks everyone for your prayers, THEY WORKED !!!!!!!!!DebbyM said:I am like most of the other
I am like most of the other pink sisters in not knowing anything about this. I want to echo their prayers and hugs to you!
Good luck,
Debby
I am used to bizarre incidents happening over the 25 years since the first diagnosis of NHL, lots of scares and worries and waiting for results, like lots of you I know.
Anywho yesterday I had a really odd thing happen, odd but welcome I must say. I went in to have my biopsy and I was laying on the procedure table waiting for the doc to come in. Of course he was held up so I had lots of time to get nervous. Sigh. So after a time he comes in and does the ultrasound of the area to guide him in the biopsy and all of a sudden he says 'I'm not going to biopsy this, it's nothing.' WHATTTTTTTTT?????????????????? I have never had anything like that happen before. My GP said it was a good idea to biopsy it as did the nurses who did the ultrasounds but this doctor of radiation said that there is no way this is anything at all. I said 'are you sure?' and he said 'absolutely'. He said it was just a small lymph node and that there were zero signs that it could even remotely be trouble. He said that it hadn't changed in anyway either since the first time they found it 3 months or so ago. There was something about how he said it that gave me confidence that this was nothing.
He shared with me that in his experience ultrasounds can turn up lots of nothings and that's why mammograms or MRIs are much better but I can't have either due to nerve damage from treatments years ago and I have a pacemaker now due to heart damage from a chemo drug so no MRIs for me either. He said to recheck it in a year if I want to but it won't be any different.
WHEW, WHEW, WHEW. The nurse told me as I was getting dressed to leave with nothing done that I was lucky and should go out and buy a lottery ticket that day, so I did. lol. Hey you never know.
Anywho I am a great believer in the power of group prayer and I thank you all for your prayers and best wishes. I pray that you all get positive results as I did yesterday.
Thank you all for your continued support. A little good news to start the day.
Blessings to you all.
