News just broke that Swedish Drs just performed the first "man made" windpipe tansplant. Done using patient's own stem cells, and doesn't have to take anti-rejection meds. Patient was stage-4 C of the larynx/voice box, and is said to have had no other options. Have a couple more planned this year, also. FYI
