My Mom just finished her first round of Chemo and with the exception of the Pneumonia that she is receiving Antiboitic infusions through her port for, she is doing well. We are getting ready for the second round of Chemo (Intrathecal). We have applied for funding for Gleevac and I hope this goes well for my mom. Anyone know about anything I should know to help her with?

    Shingles
    With immune system being so low my mom has now been battling Shingles and is in terrible pain...

    By the way the manufacturer of Gleevac has come through in spades...they are supporting her with Gleevac.
