Birthday
Wow...quite a surprise to see birthday wishes for me. I don't post much any more, but I do read what's going on. Celebrating my birthday in a few days with my precious grandbabies in Maryland.
It is two years on July 2 since my breast cancer diagnosis. I am doing well but not looking forward to annual check up next month. Scares me so much.
Had a big surprise when I went to pick up my Femara this week. Pharmacist said that will be $280.....what ? My co pay is $42. Little did I know that Medicare (worthless for sure) part D has what they call a "coverage gap" and I've already hit it. Seems from now on I have to pay top price for my three drugs....a total of $703 a month which I of course do not have. I thought by having Security Blue HMO, that would cover it....boy I have to remember to read the fine print on things. Sure hope Femara comes out with that generic brand soon before I end up in debtor's prison. Hoping PCP has samples....
Have a great 4th everyone...
