"Be grateful for those who have opened the door before you, they have shown you new possibilities." When I came across this quotation, I immediately thought of all of you here at CSN. Thank you all! As I read these posts, I am still learning of how I can take better care of myself. God bless you!

Well said Patty,
I think the hardest thing to do is be positive every day. Your quote is wonderful. The folks here helped me, I hope I helped someone else. The reason we all post is to help others and in that light, we help ourselves.
Live life everyday to the fullest,

Life
I have a little wall trivet that says "Each day is a gift to be shared". I agree, to whatever extent we can live it.
I appreciate everyone who takes the time to show up on these boards to either ask questions (especially ones I forgot about or didn't think to ask) or to answer the questions. I feel we can all learn something, no matter how small or how big.
One thing I have learned over the years in fighting this, is "think outside the box".
I also have a book by Vickie Gerard called "There's No Place Like Hope". Vickie lost her battle with breast-to-bone cancer after 16 years, but her book is timeless and is for all cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, etc. regardless of the type of cancer you have. I have leaned on this book more times than I can count to offer me strength and guidance, just like everyone here has.
I too, hope that I have been able to help someone think about something differently or that I was able to help in some way. Makes this fight a little easier to bear.
Peace.
