Ascites drainagesarahb74 said:I had a pinkish
discharge after my debulking surgery, which I was told was normal. I think they (oncologists) said it should last for about 6-8 weeks, although 18 months on from surgery I can't remember exactly. Perhaps you should mention it to your doctor if you are still worried.
It sounds like ascites draining from your pelvis through your vagina. Talk to your doctor about this as it may be nothing to worry about or you may have a fistula that needs attention. I had the drainage but it went away after a couple of rounds of chemo.
Please do let us know the outcome if you don't mind sharing with us.
(((hugs)))
