and some extra fluid around his heart. It was a wild day for sure. He always takes the train up...he did today and we got the call to page his doctor...he was on the train coming home when he found out he had to go back. So I packed his bag etc and then my son and I drove him back to to the u of c...this is the 4th of July Friday rush to get somewhere and not only was the traffic horrofic so was the weather. We had bad t-storms and high winds all day in nw IN...but we got him there...so now it's blood thinners and who knows what..still don't know anything about the cancer...did it shrink, stay the same or shrink. For once I totally resisted looking on the internet for any info...because I can't change a thing and it would cause big time worry before I need to worry..
Please add him to your prayers.
thanks

nothing like an emergency on a holiday weekendBMGky said:Prayers added
What a trip you must have had. Thankful you were able to get back. With holiday traffic one can be caught in horrendous delays that could make all the difference to someone needing medical care.
Hi Jan,
Sorry you and Tom have had a time of it. Will definitely pray and hope this all clears up, nobody needs complications with everything else that EC brings. take care and hope Tom will be alright and get those clots away.

Prayers for Tom
Jan,
I am so sorry Tom is in the hospital. Not the way you and he would have liked to spend your holiday weekend I am sure. Tom has been on my prayer list for some time now but will certainly add some extra prayers that things will resolve themselves quickly with the blood clots and fluid.
Praying for the best,
Paul Adams,
