MRI
Denise,
I wish they would explain more when they refer us for test. Some do and some don't. I suspect they are just checking to make sure there is nothing in the brain and rule out anything.Don't feel bad I don't have a brain either....perfect place for a parking lot.LOL John0 -
Scary
Hi Denise,
It's always scary when we have to get more tests done. I know it's so hard "NOT" to worry, but try as best as possible to not think the worst. Thats so much easier to say than do, I know. I'll keep good thoughts and prayers for you. When do you go in for the MRI? I laughed with your comment.."little does he know, don't have one"...ha! Hope you have a "Happy 4th of July"...don't let this new test get in the way of that. We have no plans other than a small cookout with our sons and grandkids on Sunday. Love...Sue

i go for my test thursday, no plans for the 4th, my kids don,t act like they care, my 28 yearold son stole my medicine 8 days ago, i was able to get it today. I hurt a whole lot worse, and the nausea was horrible,i hate this disease. I talked to an onc nurse at the lymphoma center and she said the vaccine was in phase 3,and there is one now for prostate cancer. blessings denise0 -

Sorry about your meds. I'd be wearing a little fanny pack and keep them on me, or have a big bat handy. Hopefully in the not too far future we will see more progress in finding a cure. I hate this disease too. I hope the nausea subsides soon, and don't forget to drink plenty of water. Take care..Love, Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -

Denise,
I am assuming when you say your meds were stolen by your son it was some sort of pain med.I know it is hard to believe but a person who is a drug addict or just one that wants to get high they will steal from anyone including their own mother to get that high. Like Sue was saying, get a pouch that you can tie around your waist and carry your meds in there.Don't try to hide them. They will find them in time. Never tell anyone what meds you have. If they ask tell them, "Its something to make me better." John0
