I was out and about today and was wearing my straw fedora hat and a young man Mam I like your hat. He had on a ball cap and took it off to show me his short buzz cut. I took mine off and told him my hair was growing back, and he said "You are still beautiful" Made me feel good also like a young chic, smokin at that....val -

as you already know, I live in Japan, and my lovely artist friend recently repaired an antique platter with the wonderful gold clay. I like it even better now!
It reminds me of another qoute, "We are all cracked pots and the more cracks we have the brighter our light shines out!" I have no idea who it was.

Hi Karen, yes, I've heard that other quote about the cracked pots. Since my cancer journey started (in 2010), I have put together a file folder of quotes that apply to our collective situations as I find reading them helps give me a sense of peace. Both these quotes in this thread will go in that folder.
