in Colorectal Cancer #1
Got the test results of my blood workup this morning... CEA holding steady at about 1 - 1.1, everything else looking GREAT.

Go in tomorrow morning for my high-contrast CT scan to check liver and the small calcium spot on my lung for any growth, but we're expecting good news there too.

    While the CEA isn't always the best indicator of things, isn't is nice to see it so low!
    Judging by the CEA news I think (and hope) you'll have good news with that too.

    Yeah, not THE indicator
    but sure helps. This high-contrast scan tells an even bigger story, but I feel fine and actually need to LOOSE a little weight not. LOL

    And as my dear father-in-law would have said, "Totally Non Sequitur" ....

    Sitting here listening to Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVgt86o4zIw ) and thinking that, for the MOST part, the lyrics of that song would be MY song to the cancer they cut out of me over a year ago and living in the shadow of the threat of recurrence... lovely song.
