in Ovarian Cancer #1
My mom is now gone and lost her battle with this horrible cancer. She went very peacefully and was not suffering or gasping for air while dieing. If I had it to do all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Even though it only took a few minutes for her to go home, I could not bring myself to pull that vent off of my mom. My older cousin had to do it for me and she volunteered. My mom has a huge family. She touched alot of lives and will be dearly missed by many, many people. From some of the posts I read about Nancy, my mom was jsut as strong and wanted to still fight to the bitter end as Nancy. I don't know if I can ever be as strong as these two wonderful ladies. May both of them rest in peace and be remembered as they were before this awful cancer took over. Mom, I will always love you and you will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Thanks all for the support you given me.
Mum2bellaandwilliam, I am thinking about you and your family. Hopefully they can find something that can work so you do not have to go through this for a long time. I wish all of you the best.

    I am so sorry that you have lost your wonderful Mom. I truly know what this feels like, as I'm sure many on this board do. There's never an easy way, a right way. But to know that your Mom went peacefully, in no pain, is so wonderful, as did my mother.

    Now, may the Lord heal your broken heart, and help you to find peace again. The day will come when you will reflect on all the fond memories, instead of the hurt. Since your Mom was so instrumental in everyone's lives, you will obviously have many, many memories.

    Karen am sorry to hear about your mother. I know at this time you feel overwhelm. I lost my father 3 years ago and it gets easier every day. I try to do everything I can with my mom and try to remember the great times and love we had with him.

    It is always hard to lose a love one and just remember God has a new plan for your mother.

    I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I'm sure that it is a comfort that she went peacefully. I'm glad to hear that you have a large supportive family to help you. We're here for you also.

    Sorry for your loss
    You have suffered a terrible loss but I believe she will always be with you in your heart. Grief will be with you now but don't forget to celebrate the woman she was and is because she is a part of you,I am thinking of you and wishing you well.

    I am deeply saddened to read
    I am deeply saddened to read your post, may you courageous mum RIP.
    Take comfort from the fact she was in no pain , and she has left a fantastic legacy , you her daughter.

    Thanks. I am just glad how she took the dx and how much she fought up to the end. I am very glad she went the way she did. Thanks everyone. I wish everyone the best on here the best.
