minniejan update
I have been lurking here since I finished all my treatments in late March for UPSC. I did not want to post while I was waiting. Call me superstitious! After my treatments I had a needed blood transfusion prior to plans to do some needed traveling. I took two wonderful trips, one to Arizona to visit my son, and did some warm and needed hiking in the desert. Then I had a wonderful fabulous trip to Disney World with my two grown daughters, all the while wondering if my treatments did what they were supposed to do. I had new blood work and other testing done very recently, and am very happy to say that right now my CA125 and other tests show that the disease is no longer "rearing its ugly head" in my body!
I have been faithfully reading all the posts, and want you all to know that my thoughts and good wishes are with those who are continuing the battle today, and am celebrating with those who have good news.
Thankful for today, minniejan

Congratulations on your good labs and other tests. Remission feels good, doesn't it? We all need to share our good news! There are so many ups and downs on this road that reading about the good things feels like a shining light.
Wishing you well
