Happy!
Hi Michelle,
Yeah! I'm so happy for you! I remember my last round of CVP-R was on Dec.14th...I was soooo thrilled when I left the clinic. When will you get your scan? I had mine the following month. Rest and get your energy back so that you will feel like clebrating on your birthday July 1st, and then again on the 4th of July. Perfect timing! (o:

Everyone is different but I had NHL and I never got sick to my stomach. I had 6 chemo's and you do get more tired as you go along. But you will be on the other side of this soon. Hodgekins is curable. I hopr all goes well for you. Keep us posted. You have found the best support group.0 -

Thank you everyone!! I will have pet scan done in 30 days and will keep everyone posted. I was so happy, sitting in my chair while getting chemo the oncologist came to be with a big smile and gave me a hug! It was so nice. Still going back for hydration tomorrow.0 -

I also have/had hodgkins stage 2b. My chemo treatment has been ABVD. There are other treatment options, what chemo are you getting? You will recieve info from your oncologist with a list of side effects, you will not get all of them and everyone is different. The side effects I got were thrush (very painful, go to the dr right away), hair loss (I didnt lose all of my hair, thined a lot), joint and muscle pain, upset stomach, changes in nails, skin discoloration, metalic taste in mouth and feeling weak and tired. Any other questions you have, just ask. I will be keeping my account and checking in.
Best wishes, Michelle0 -

Hi Denise,
Good luck tomorrow with your blood work. I had my Rituxan infusion on Monday and my Onc said my blood work looked good...everything was in the normal range, so that made me very happy. Still feel good today, so alls well, that ends well. I'll keep good thoughts for you.
