Hello Everyone, I just wanted to say "Hello" and share the good news that Connie's PET scan was all clear. She is still on the peg tube and starting to eat some foods so getting her off the peg is our next challenge. It has been one hell of a roller coaster ride but we just held on and it's slowing down to let us off hopefully. I wanted to thank everyone for their support through out from the beginning until now. The advise we have received here has been invaluable. I told Connie today, I wanted my old Connie back and I caught myself and said no, I just want my new Connie. I will be coming on this network many times in the future to check in with everyone and try to encourage others if possible that their is light at the end of the tunnel. It makes me feel good to help someone that like Connie is scared to death with a cancer prognosis and all I can tell them is our story to try and comfort them. I love everyone here and I would mention names but I wouldn't want to accidently overlook anyone. I know this, after all of this, we will live life like never before and enjoy our time on this earth like God intended. To all cancer survivors, keep fighting with all you got and to all caregivers I will always have a special place in my heart for you and the tough job you have to do. With Love, Homer & Connie

Homer I am so happy to hear Connie had a clean scan. You both have been through so much! Connie will get there with the eating I truly believe that, I know we get anxious about it but taking it slow & steady is a good thing.

To depressed, You don't seem depressed, you seem to me to be helping others, you couldn't do that if you were depressed.
To Greg, You, Skiffin (John), Adventure Bob, Hondo and I need to get together sometime for some serious fishing. Even if we don't catch fish we would have a great time.
To luv4lacrosse, Not only did you help us with great advice but I followed your treatments and recovery. I hope you continue to do well and of course you have to go fishing with us too.
I didn't come here tonight to say goodbye, why would I, I only have to turn on my laptop to say "hello" and I hope to be here someday when cures are discovered and better treatments. I don't think I am, for sure. Maybe only if HERO is an acronym for someone who wants to Help Encourage and Reassure Others. In that case, there are many HEROs on this board every day. -
