Silly to be excited but......

One more step toward feeling normal, now I can push my sunglasses up into my hair (as long as it doesn't fall off) just like any other summer.
Silly but happy,
Jennifer

I am so happy for you, dearheart!!!!!

Nothing silly about feeling 'normal'. Breast cancer takes so much away from us -- Breast, Hair, Personality, Energy, Careers ...
Enjoy and Celebrate walks, dinners out, contacts .. life without endless doctor appointments, radiation, chemo therapy and surgery.!!!!
 Strength and Courage.

I can't express how fantastic it is to have ladies who get it. Family says yea that's good, but they just don't know what it means.
I am sooooo grateful for all of you and for this site, I only wish I had found it sooner,
 Jennifer

On this journey you celebrate EVERY milestone you can on the raod back to the new normal. COngrats!
I work for an optical company making gas perm contact lenses. I never gave up my lenses all through treatment, although I did and still do find myself removing them by the end of the work day due to dry eye. I love all these little celebrations we can now enjoy... My latest is being able to part my 1" inch hair growth. LOL
 Hugs,
 Lorrie
