A question about HIPEC

Hi, I've been seeing quite a few things about HIPEC treatment. Has anyone ever had this treatment. My gyn/oncologist told me that it is a very rough treatment for a person to go through and could have alot of side effects. Just wondering if anyone on board has had this particular treatment yet.
