How long after your final chemo/rad treatments do you have to report any fever over 100.4 to your oncologist?

Fever
I don't have the answer to this because I only had a fever once during treatment but I would call the oncologist anyways and make them aware that he is still running a fever. Have you contacted his GP to see if he can find the reason for his fever??? Just a suggestion.
I hope you are able to find answers soon.
Stay strong,

Fever
I spiked a fever of 104.0 my first day of chemo, which I believe was an allergic reaction to one of my chemo drugs that day, I had three(Erbitux, carboplatin & taxol)
the weeks I did make it home which were only about three of 18 I had fevers of 100.4 or higher that landed me in the local ER.
How are you doing Skiffin put our an apb
Wishes & prayers on your treatment

Communication
I'm with Glenna....maintain a high level of communication with your ENT, Chemo MD & GP....especially for the first year.
It's best to stay up on things and nip them in the bud before they develope into something else.
As for fever, both chemo and rads compromise your immune system for several months....it's best to stay up on infections, fevers, cuts....etc.
It took nearly a year before all of my blood counts came back into the normal ranges.
Best,

If you're good with a database; you can make a quick one to keep track of temps. It may give you an indication of a time of day when he seems to run them.
That's a good idea. I will make one and track his weight and temp's. He is not running one at this time, I was just wondering.0
