I still have dry mouth very bad and it is hard to eat all i can get down is soft food with a lot of coffee or water. My reason for this post Is my Brother-in-law he has lung cancer and has been treated at a local VA hospital here in Alabama he has had radition and some Chemo but with no success all they want to do is give him pain and nerve med with all he is taking he dont want to eat or try too go get any other help. We have heard and seen on TV about a new treatment in a pill form. (Geneticly Engineered) To cure or combat cancer of the lungs. Has anyone heard or know about it. Is it available yet or is there a web site we can so we can research it.

Why doesn't he want to go to
Why doesn't he want to go to the cancer center? It's always good to get another opinion. Not sure if you're talking about any of the new articles that just came out- I haven't read them yet.

I did have a seapage problem that lasted a couple months after I got my PEG removed. Was typical that after I ate lunch and went back to work I would get some seapage out of my 2nd belly button. Solution became "Skin Temp II" at a local wound care center, and it took less than two weeks to stop the leaking. Did wait a couple months after I got the PEG yanked, though, with the Dr's blessing, to see if it would seal itself shut, so waiting awhile might not be a critical matter.
