Infection????
Just seems to go hand in hand with fever and considering the impaired immune system from radiation and the constant trips to hospitals and treatment centers she just may have caught a bug? How high is the fever and I commend you for even catching it as I felt like I had a fever pretty much every damn day anyway. Her blood counts make this a serious condition so call your doctor just to be safe. -
hydration?
Ratface is right, check with docs re an infection, they repeatedly warn us to contact them if fever hits 100.5+ degrees.
Low hydration/dehydration can also cause a temperature spike and it's common for HNC patients to have challenges getting enough fluid.
Are there other symptoms in addition to the fever? -
