For JimboC
Just wanted you to know I will be praying for you with your upcoming surgery in July.
I know it's hard but rest in the Lord. He has your back! Man will be performing your surgery but God will be overseeing it all.
Trust the Lord that He loves you and He didn't bring you this far to leave you.
I pray for peace for you. I love this passage in the Word of God:
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, "Peace, be still." And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Don't you just love those words?
So JimboC, "Peace be still."
May God calm you and send you peace in the days ahead.

Thank you Rose for the kind
Thank you Rose for the kind words of inspiration. My trust has been in God since the beginning and He has taken care of me. Scary time but these are the times that define us. I appreciate the prayers. They have done me so well. Three weeks from now we head out for Pittsburgh.0 -

This is a difficult time as your wait for surgery Jim. You are doing the right thing and will be so glad when it is all over. My Jim and I traveled out of state to Portland, Oregon at OHSU for his MIE and it is difficult not being at home, but we would do it again and again. Being at a high volume cancer center and with "the MIE surgeon" no less is the only way to go. This EC is scary stuff, however I know God will be with you every step of the way. Having a complete team of surgeons that specialize in ec gave us peace of mind. Jim was scheduled to have the IL in North Idaho and due to this site encouraging us to get a second opinion and go to a major cancer university saved Jim's life. He has heart issues and had a real close call after surgery. If we had gone with the IL I wouldn't have a husband. We are ever grateful to those on this site for that.
We will pray that God will give you peace of mind as you journey towards Pittsburg in July.

The waiting has been so difficult. Part of me wants it to fly but another part wants to take my time because I actually feel good being off chemo. It's been a busy time getting things in order to leave town. If I slow down, I do worry some but for the most part, I keep my mind off of it.
Thanks for the prayers! I believe that they do help.0
