hi joel,
my name is nancy and i've been googling like crazy trying to find someone who has a very similar situation as mine and tonight i find this forum. i don't even know where to start as, i'm not sure if this is a private message or a public one. guess it doesn't matter, tho i don't want to be budding into someone else's thread. if so sorry, maybe you can let me know how can i start a new one that you would see,(and others who might benefit) and i could ask you some questions. readers digest story is i just had a selected ND on july 1st and was recommended no radiation just observation. i asked G-d, if He could lead me to one, just one person who has experienced this so i could know im not the only person on the planet who opted out,and well here you are. my doctors said the exact same thing about treatment, i feel like you did when you wrote last year that the thoughts of cancer returning takes up way too much time of the day.... it's all i think about...not dying...only the possibility of reoccurrence and radiation. plus i have a family i worry for them. i read your profile (sounds so creeper like, sorry) and we are leaning on the same One. so, i hope i hear from you soon, i could tell u about about my dx and maybe you can give me some advice about nutrition....or i know some people drink that alkaline based water..etc. i know everyone is different, but i have to say i feel encouraged. (hope our first post surgery scopes are different, i get my next month, ouch) thanks ~ nancy -

To send a CSN Email, look in the upper left hand corner of this page, in the brownish/burgundy section. You will see something that says, CSN. EMAIL. Click on that. Towards the bottom of that page, it will say something like, "write a new message". You must put in joel's screen name exactly as it appears, and a subject line, then compose your message to him.
To start a new thread, you would go to our main Head and Neck Cancer Board, and towards the top, left hand side, right by the "Topics" section, in blue, I believe, between the topics and where you can subscribe to feeds, it says some thing like "post a new discussion topic".
I am sure that if you post a question or just want to vent, there will be people who have been there and that understand. Hope you can find what you need with my directions.
Welcome to our little group that we would all rather not be in. -
