Went to rads doctor today
Went to rads doctor today and asked his opinion on this. He said protocol is yearly BUT if I need to mentally have them every 6 months then that's what we will do! Every 6 on the affected breast and yearly on the other for 2 years. My first one will be 6 months from now. He said you do not want to get one before that because stuff is still happening in there and it would be unreadable. So, I will stick with him and do it every 6 months. What a load off my mind. Since I don't have an oncologist, I will continue after 3 months to see him and my surgeon every 6 months for 2 years. We will set it up so that I see one of them every 3 months. I'm so glad I asked him his opinion. Thanks everyone for your support!! -

I get mine every 6 months and it does make me feel better. Scares me to think they will eventually go to 1 year. Glad you are getting yours at the 6 months.
