We are all here today, basically, because we've traveled the path of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to treat our cancer. A lot has been said about the possible benefits of alternative therapies, either 'in addition to' or 'as an alternative to' our mainstream treatment options. Links to further information have been presented.

    Western vs. Alternative
    Nice links Deb. I suppose I trust the content of them about as much as the content of the alternative sites. I think both are well meaning and both probably work well when they do. I'd have to say for myself; chemo and rads took care of the cancer and the alternatives took care of the chemo and rads. That is to say; I'd be dead from cancer without the chemo and rads and I'd be dead from the chemo and rads without the alternative care. I really think/hope we're heading toward a beautiful blend of both that is individualized for each person. Nice to have choices.
