Painful lump
Hi there.
That is exactly how I found the lump in my breast last year. It hurt to touch or bump it and it was mobile. After my surgeon removed it, she explained it probably hurt because the tumor was growing in and around nerves.
Are you having it biopsied or removed?0 -
Painful
Yes my lump was painful, so much for "if it hurts it isn't cancer", and it moved, my PCP thought it might be a cyst...wish he had been right. That doesn't mean yours is cancerous, there are so many other things it could be. It sure does drive you crazy til you know.
Hang in there,

I am going in for CAT scan, Bone scan and mammogram on this tuesday.. and yes not knowing it the worst thing... at least if I know for sure whether it is or is not cancer I can deal with it and get on with my life... the waiting is the hardest part..0 -

Yes I hear the same thing. If it hurts not cancer but also your is moving.Another possibilty it isn't cancer. I have a fatty tumor in my stomach.I've had it for years. But it started bothering me more after my breast cancer.Doctor checked it and he said it is a fatty tumor but with weight gains or loss and other factors it can hurt and move around.
I don't think a cancerous tumor moves but we are all different.I have a breast cyst they don't do anything about.BUT they always say a place that APPEARS to be benign. UMMMMM. Gotta have trust.Get those mammos. All you can do.
We are all wishing you the best. Please let us know the results.
