In need of my Sisters!
I'll be having it tomorrow at 7:30.
Your prayers are so comforting and welcomed! Thank you so much!
Wasn't sure if the pink bus would side track to the Gastroenterologist's clinic
Hugs,
Sylvia

Oh no..the booty cam
I haven't been brave enough to have the "booty cam" yet. My doctors keep bringing it up and I keep ignoring them. I know, not smart, but, I just can't face it yet.
This is just as important as any test Sylvia, because a sweet pink sister is having it done.
I will be on the pink bus for you and I will be praying and how about something to eat afterwords? Let us know what you want, or, just coffee?
Seriously, the best of luck tomorrow. You are in my prayers.

I had a colonoscopy done in Dec. Something showed on my PET Scan so I went to have this done. Turned out to be inflammation, they had me so scared, and it was inflammation, thank God.
Good news afterwards my digestive system has worked so much better. No stomach pains, and no more constipation. I felt so much better. I think it flushed all that chemo out of my intestinal tract.0 -
Don't worry the pink bus
Don't worry the pink bus will be there and the Kindreds will all be there. You will be in my prayers tomorrow. Please keep us posted!0 -
I just had the Booty Cam on
I just had the Booty Cam on Tuesday! Why oh why I picked that day is a puzzlement! I spent Memorial Day NOT at a bbq, but drinking clear liquids, jello and the blecch! the Laxative! Everything went well, and there were no polyps or anything else which shouldn't be there! Sending you all of my positive vibes...and as not so pleasant as you think it is, imagine what the DR spends all day looking at! All in the perspective! :-)0 -

and there is nothing in there that shouldn't be. I'm way overdue for one of those too--trying to get my courage up. Best of luck. I want to know all the details--seriously.

Been There, Done That
I had a colonscopy on May 16. It was my first. I had originally scheduled it in December, but got the BC DX in November and decided that I had enough to deal with. The prep is the worst part. I had to take two Dulcolax tablets and drink 64 oz of some stuff mixed with gatorade. Unfortunately, I got sick. I don't know if I had a little bug, the tamoxifin didn't take kindly to other stuff being in my system, or what--it was pretty bad so I was going from both ends. The good part is the actual colonoscopy was fairly painless. I was awake the whole time. I wear glasses and am almost blind without them so I did not opt to look while the doctor was probing in my hind parts. It was good that I had it done. Two polyps were found: one was hyperplastic (not a big deal). The other was adenomatous. Adenomas can turn into colon cancer over time. My next booty cam takes place in five years.
I'll ride the bus. All will be fine. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong and peaceful. It will be over before you know it.0 -

You'll do great. The worse is the "drink". Don't even remember my 2 in a yr. Woke up with them telling to "pass gas". Good luck and be negative. Keep us updated.katz

even to the gastroenterologist. It's our special bus at our disposal. I'll be on board tomorrow. They're doing it on a Saturday?
Hope everything goes great. We'll save the food until you're back on board.

Sylvia I will be there
My last one, Dr. came dancing in as I was waking. Said he was dancing to my one man band! I was cracking up.
Hoping everything goes well.... We have been doing a lot of partying on this bus, I think it is time we installed a fridge to keep all the beverages cool.

I had one at 40 because i had some bleeding after a virus and with my history of cancer....(first BC at 34) it was fine. I have to have another one but am just getting over the stomach issues from chemo and bum surgery caused by the stomach issues from chemo. I thought the cleanout was the worst. and they did say they wanted the curtains to be blowing.
does the pink bus have a bathroom?????????????//0 -

our pink bus will have 3 bathrooms at least!
Maybe we should have a "prep" party and everyone can drink that deliciously GROSS stuff on the bus...OMG, how disasterous would THAT be!
Suzanne, it seems there are so many booty checks that this office does them on Saturdays too. How very convenient.
Thank you ALL for your positive words and prayers...love you!

I'll be there too Sylvia! I can't think of anything better than supporting a pink sister. What time are we leaving? It takes me awhile to get ready, so, I need lots of time. LOL
Praying for you!
