I have relatives that live in both Columbia and Laurel. I will be more than happy to walk with your friend Rose in spirit. You are exactly right when you said we should keep the walkers in our hearts and minds.
IRENE
I live in Laurel. Are you from this area? I will try to go to the Laurel one next week, it depends on the heat and humidity though. Last year it was over 90 degrees and with the medication I'm on, I cannot sit in the heat or sun.

Grew up in MD
I grew up in Potomac, MD which you probably know is in Montgomery County. I have relatives all over Maryland - Baltimore,Silver Spring, Bethesda, Bowie, Ellicott City, and Laurel. I now live in Northern California about 45 miles south of San Francisco. I must say that I do NOT miss the MD humidity. The weather here has got to be one of its chief selling points. Glad to "meet" you here on this Board.
