Hi Everyone,
I was fortunate to meet Barb "Mrs Botch" in person today. We meet so many people on this site and feel like we know them, so when we do have the opportunity to meet, it is a blessing. I felt like I already knew her.
Barb is the one who made our Governor aware of Esophagus awareness. Governor Deal signed the proclamation in April making April, Esophagus awareness month in the state of Georgia. We are all so excited to get the word out on just how deadly it is.
Barb was invited to a photo op with the governor and she invited me. So with her, several friends,Vince's two son's, me, my daughter in law and three grandchildren we went to the Georgia capital and met with the governor for pictures. This was really exciting, because the cause means so much to us all.
I put pictures on my profile page, under expressions.
