LEESA IS OUT OF SURGERY AND DOING WELL!!!

Leesa is doing well. She's in the PACU, and is alert, oriented, and following commands. We were joking about how many times she's going to be asked who the Prez is... so I suggested a unique answer. When I saw her, the nurse asked, and she responded, "Not Ron Paul - darn it". A very good sign

Our friend Lois showed up in the PACU (Lois works at Shock Trama), and Leesa's face light up and she called out Lois's name. Her pain is controlled, and her vitals are rock solid stable. (Except she's forgetting to breathe due to the pain meds:).
15 minutes ago · LikeUnlike.Ken Green I have had 5 people ask me in TXT if they got it all. I know there is a small tumor still there. Radiation will get that. If there is any of the big one left, I do not know. Leesa needs to ask that. All I know is the doc did his best, and whatever we have to deal with we'll deal with. If there is any left, radiation will get it.

Leesa, we're with you
and wishing you the very best on your recovery. You are one of the strongest people I have met on this board, and it sounds like you and hubby are lucky to have each other.
Lots of hugs from your Teal Sisters!
Chris
& Carlene, thank you. Please rest yourself and maybe take one of those naps you like. -

I am so stoked by this! The week was looking sooooooo bleak. I really NEEDED to hear that Leesa is okay.
I talked to Paula today and she is going to drive up next week and see Leesa. I am so jealous!
