I saw my oncologist last Friday because of severe pain in my ear on the side where i had cancer in my tongue and lymphnodes. He told me he thinks i have temporomandibular joint disorder. He ordered a ct just in case. I was sick and throwing up all day Thursday and Friday. When i turned on my cell phone today my oncologists nurse left me a message to call her. In the past whenever they could not reach me they would leave a message saying the test came back ok call if i had questions. Never once have they just said call me. Do you think i should worry or try and relax. David

Hi David
One thing I found is that worrying never makes it any better and it is also bad for your bodies healing process. Just relax take it easy, I know about your pain as most of us live with some type of pain due to the side effects of the treatment, the importance thing is that we are still here. It will take some time before things start to get better and you find your New Normal. Keep positive and keep you mind and body busy doing something, focus on something you like to do and do it, this will your body in the healing process.
All the best my friend
