It's been a very stressful and tiring week. My mother was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday and my mother-in-law was admitted on Thursday. Same hospital, just different wings. So we spent the last couple days walking back and forth through the hospital. My mother is still in, but my mother-in-law was discharged last night. We had to work today so didn't make it up to visit. I spoke to both of them on the phone. Please keep them in your prayers.

On a positive note, I had my 17th Herceptin infusion on Thursday (in between hospital visits). Only one more to go, then I can have my port removed!

    Oh, Jean, hope both moms will be doing much better
    soon. Congrats on your last Herceptin--I'm sure you are so ready to be done with this! And getting that port out--just feels like the final step is done. Try to relax some this weekend or you'll wear yourself out.

    so difficult to be pulled in different directions .. good
    thoughts and prayers coming your way! Hope, Health and happiness for both your Mom, and Mother in law.

    More importantly -- please rest and keep up your strength as you will need to go out and celebrate once you finish that last Herceptin infusion. Surreal .. just knowing that you can see the finish line right around the corner - in about three weeks -) Oh, how breast cancer and chemo has changed us .. our views, and enjoyment of all the little things.

    You sure have your hands full. I am sure you are excited about having your last infusion. Try to rest some and keep up your strength. My thoughts are with all 3 of you.
