Our oncologist said no
Because GBM4 has inflitrated alot of the brain, our oncologist wanted to take out as much as possible then do the radiation and temodar.
he said that if the tumor came back, it would most likely come back within 3cm of the original site, SO we needed to do the radiation BEYOND the limits of the original tumor..
Plus the fact that in most GBM4 tumors, the tumor itself is not as solid or defined....0 -

they told me not only was my tumor inoperable, but the Gamma knife was not a solution in my case0
