going back to work
Just a reminder ....
for people starting back to work after treatment.
It's a lot easier to overdo than you think it is. Case in point, I started back to work 3 weeks ago, and i was working in my yard in the afternoons. Then bam, I started feeling exhausted all the time. So then for about 3 days i went to work, then back home to bed. I am just now getting back to the point i started from several weeks ago. So do yourself a favor. For a long while take it easier than you think you have to. Play it safe, don't give yourself this kind of exhaustion. I know its easy to say that "i know when enough is enough, and i won't over do it", but in this case, i didn't have stopping sense at all. Allow yourself time to recover, you'll be glad you did.

Good Point tony
It nearly 6 month before I could go back to work and even then I had to take it easy. In my new life I didn't really stress anymore.
If I don;t finish, I schedule it for the next day. For those urgent things that happen that put the pressure on, I ask myself, 'Will anyone die if I do or don't do XYZ'? If the answer is no (and it usually is), then I just l do what I can without blowing a gasket.
I remember lying in the hospital in very shape and it is true about that saying of 'never wishing you had spent more time at work' or stressing out fro that matter.

Great Post.
Tony, this is a wonderful post for so many.
I too took 6-8 months after going back to work before I had enough energy to much after work. For those out there just list to body if your at all tired that is enough go rest. When in doubt go rest your recovery will be much faster.

I'm 22 months post treatment and just recently spent a beautiful day outdoors all day doing yardwork. Was exhausted that early evening and sluggish the next few days. We forget that the bloodwork sometimes needs long periods to recover. Your post bears adhereance.fisrpotpe said:Great Post.
